Norm photographing in India

My work in the photographic industry spans 40+ years. I currently work as a digital photographic instructor and artist. I taught classes at Coconino Community College and Northern Arizona University. I have grown the program from one Photoshop class at Coconino Community College, to two levels of Photoshop and two levels of Digital Photography in the last 4 years. The combined program encompasses all levels of digital imaging from image capture, enhancement, marketing and presenting. Past experience includes a full range of film photographic processes as well.

I owned and operated a full service custom professional lab, retail store, gallery and framing shop. My clients included Tom Till, John Sexton, and Pete Turner. I processed film for National Geographic workshops, Leica tours, Ford, Toyota and Nike.

I have worked in video and the motion picture industry. I am currently creating instructional medical videos as well. I have assisted as a still and motion cameraman producing commercial and feature films for Taco Bell, Nike and American express.

I value sharing my knowledge and have worked as a digital, film and darkroom instructor for Anderson Ranch in Aspen Colorado assisting world class photographers like Jay Maisel, John Sexton, and Jerry Uelsmann.

My professional images include commercial advertising and photo journalism. I have also produced three one man art exhibits in Wyoming and Utah. I am currently working on a new portfolio for a wonderful gallery in Santa Fe. My work has centered on people in nature combining action and adventure situations.

My love for the outdoor’s has led me to do location scouting backpacking, guiding, rafting and 4 wheeling.

Currently Sedona, after having been based in Flagstaff, Arizona for the past 12 years,and Moab, Utah for 22 years.
